Pattanakkad




Pattanakkad is a charming village on the National Highway 47, about 7 km north-west of Cherthala in Alappuzha District. Kochi is around 22 km north.

The place is famous for an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Pattanakkad Public School is a famous educational institution in the district. Vayalar and Thuravoor Mahakshethram are some interesting spots around.

Shertalai Railway Station and Turavur Railway Station are nearest railheads. Cochin International Airport is the closest airport.
