Pattambi

Pattambi is a fast growing town in Ottapalam of Palakkad District. This place is 50 km from Palakkad town and 15 km from Shoranur. The climate is generally humid with temperatures ranging from 25 to 30 degrees. Pattambi gets a medium to heavy rainfall throughout the south west monsoons. Paddy Research Centre managed by the Government of India and an ancient Sanskrit College are seen in close proximity.
