Patiala Gosht is a north Indian delicacy from the royal kitchens of
Patiala. Patiala Gosht made from meat requires a preparation time of at least 12 hrs in advance. The juicy slices of lamb are marinated overnight and then simmered in light sauce with yogurt, peppers, onions, tomatoes and mild spices. This dish of tender boneless lamb pieces cooked with ground onion, ginger, garlic and garam masala goes well with Indian breads or steamed Basmati rice.
