Pathla is an indigenous rain shield of
Tripura. Woven from bamboo strips, this is a circular shaped structure has a diameter of 550 mm. It is angled slightly in a downward direction. It contains a cone on its top with a base measuring 230 mm and a height of 110 mm. The cone is woven with hexagonal patterns on it. Its peak is strengthened using five wide interlocking bamboo strips.
