Paschim Vihar is one of the oldest residential locales in
West Delhi District. Once a less developed area in
New Delhi, the region got a facelift after the development of the surrounding places of Rohini,
Pitampura, Punjabi Bagh and
Janakpuri by the Delhi Development Authority. The real estate prices soared and soon it developed to encompass 30 sub-colonies, with separate shopping complex and infrastructure.
Paschim Vihar is connected with rest of Delhi by buses. Rohtak Road and Ring Road are close by. Indira Gandhi International Airport is towards the south.
