Partapgarh is a small village in the western part of
Jammu District,
Jammu and Kashmir. It is about three kilometers from
Ranjitpur and is at an altitude of about 935 ft above sea level.
Partapgarh is flanked by Shri Partapsinghpur in the west and Dewli Salehriyan in the east. The northern and southern parts are covered by Shri Gulabsinghpur and Charwa respectively.
By road, one can approach Partapgarh from Khaur and Samba. At 26 km is Jammu, housing the nearest railway station.
