Partabner




Partabner, with a population 5,780, is a large village situated in Etawah District. It was founded in the 13th century by Raja Partab Singh, the 13th King of the line of Chauhan Rajputs. The same king built a fort here which is now in ruins.

Partabner is about 14 km from Etawah with which it is connected by a branch road leading from Kachaura Ghat. Jaswantnagar Railway Station is the nearest railway station.
