Parmarth Niketan, an ashram to which sages and pilgrims have flocked for millennia, is situated in
Rishikesh,

This ashram aims at promoting human welfare. It conducts classes in yoga and meditation. Classes range from
hatha yoga to yoga nidra to special meditation classes. In the evening, it organizes Ganga Arti and Hawan on the Parmarth Ghat.
The ashram has about 1,000 residential rooms, which are equipped with the necessary modern amenities. It runs a school on traditional Indian patterns.
