Parbal is a huge flat plateau with a forest, located parallel to
Matheran, in
Karjat region of
Western Ghats. Situated at an altitude 2,318 ft, the site offers panoramic views of forts and peaks of the surrounding area. In fact, Parbal have been developed as a hill station but for the shortage of water.
