Parassinikadavu Snake Park, one of the known snake parks in
Kerala, is located 18 km away from
Kannur. In addition to the poisonous and non-poisonous snakes, the park also houses rare animals, reptiles and birds like the endangered species of lion-tailed macaque and crocodiles.
Snake show is held every hour at the snake park. Visitors can also enjoy a boat ride on the wide river leading on to the blue expanse of the sea ahead. The visiting time is from 09:00 to 17:30 hrs everyday.
