Parasi

Parasi lies in the north-eastern part of Ranchi District, near Erki River. Bordering with West Singhbhum District, the town is 60 km south-east of Ranchi - the nearest major city. Around 11 km west of Parasi is Tamar which was the site of the famous Tamar-Munda revolt. National Highway 33 passes close by. Chandil Junction Railway Station is the nearest railhead. Ranchi Airport is the closest airport.
