Parashurameshwara Temple




Parashurameshwara Temple is at Gudimallam, which lies 30 km east of Tirupati. It is said to have been built by the Pallava Kings during the first century. The temple has a 1.5 m high linga with a figure of Lord Shiva carved on its shaft. There is sub-temple of Lord Surya inside the main enclosure.

The airport and railway station at Tirupati provides easy accessibility to the temple.
