Parashurameshwara Temple is at
Gudimallam, which lies 30 km east of
Tirupati. It is said to have been built by the Pallava Kings during the first century. The temple has a 1.5 m high linga with a figure of
Lord Shiva carved on its shaft. There is sub-temple of Lord Surya inside the main enclosure.
The airport and railway station at Tirupati provides easy accessibility to the temple.
