Paniyar Kali

Paniyar Kali is a primitive dance form of the Panyar tribe. Only men partake in this primitive dance. In Paniyar Kali, the performers stand in a circle with hands linked together and move around with rhythmic flexions of the body. The dance is accompanied by the loud beat of primitive percussion instruments such as Karu, Para and Udukku.
