Pandum is a festival observed by
Abujhmarias of
Madhya Pradesh and
Chhattisgarh. It is mainly conducted during the community hunt. Before going for hunting, offerings are made for a rich game and the safe return of the hunters.
This festival is also celebrated to worship the earth and seeds of paddy and to give thanks for all the new crops.
