Pandav Quila, situated at
Barnawa in
Meerut District is associated with
the Mahabharata. Several ancient statues can be seen here. It is believed that the fort was built by
the Pandavas and it was here that
Duryodhana, with the help of a local official Purochana, tried to burn alive Pandavas and their mother,
Kunti. However, the Pandavas escaped through the underground tunnel in this fort.
