Palmyra, a center for ecological Landuse and rural development, is located at
Auroville in
Pondicherry. Established in 1990, it aims to promote the ecological concepts of Landuse as well as rural development programs.
The center undertakes education, health and sports related projects with the support of international organizations. Kuilapalayam Higher Secondary School and Palmyra Training Center are run under the control of the center.
