Palimar Mutt is situated on Kanakadasa Road in
Udupi District,
Karnataka. The main branch of this mutt is in Palimar village. The idol of Kodanda Rama with Lakshmana and Sita is worshipped here. It has been gifted to the first pontiff of the mutt Sri Hrishikesha Tirtha by Acharya Madhva. Sri Hrishikesha Tirtha’s handwritten scripts are still preserved in the mutt. The present pontiff is Sri Vidyamanya Tirtha.
