Pakhal

Situated amid forest-clad hills, Pakhal is one of the best picnic spots in Warangal District of Andhra Pradesh. Pakhal is 50 km south-east of Warangal and 130 km south-west of Hyderabad.

Places of interest include a tranquil lake and a wildlife sanctuary with inhabitants such as tiger, leopard, wild dogs, hyena and sambhar. Best time to visit here is from November to June.

Hyderabad Airport and Warangal Junction Railway Station are the nearest access points.
