Paithani Weaving Center is situated behind the Indian Airlines office in Aurangabad, 388 km from
Mumbai. The art of weaving, Paithani, flourished in 200 BC in a village Paithan, which is 56 km south of Aurangabad. Paithani Weaving Center at Aurangabad produces lustrous Paithani silk saris. The center is open from 11 00 to 20 00 hrs on all days except Sundays.
Aurangabad has its own railway station which is the main junction on South Central Railway and airport, 10 km east of the city, has daily flights to Mumbai.
