Pahadi Handkerchiefs is a traditional handicraft of Himachal Pradesh. It is also known as Chamba handkerchief as this art came Chamba. It is believed that this art was supported by King Rajsingh and his queen Sharda of Chamba. The handkerchiefs are made of square or oblong pieces of cloth. Scenes from the life of the Lord Krishna and the Puranas are embroidered with silk threads. Round pieces of mirror are then integrated into the embroidery pattern. Pahadi Handkerchiefs are produced in Chamba, Kangra, Mandi, Bilaspur and Kullu areas.
