Paglam is one of the gateways to Lower Dibang Valley District and is situated 105 km south-west of Roing.

Dambuk is north of Paglam. Bongal Yapgo, at Dambuk, is a unique tourist attraction in this part of the district.

Dibrugarh Airport is the nearest airport. Tinsukia Junction Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
