Our Lady of The Snows Church is a famous church located at Raia village, near
Margao in Salcete taluk. This church, popularly known as Raia Church, attracts a large number of devotees, especially during the main festival named Konsachem Fest. During the festival, a football match is arranged among the famous clubs of the region. The festival is celebrated with pomp and fanfare after the sheaves (konsa) of rice harvest. People of all faith attend the festival. Main feature of this church is a sickle, believed to have been sent here by the Pope of Portugal in the ancient period.
