Orissa State Road Transport Corporation is a joint venture undertaking of the Government of India and the State Government of Orissa, set up with the objective of providing efficient and economic road transportation facilitates to passengers in the state. The corporation was constituted in 1974 under the Road Transport Corporations Act of 1950.
OSRTC carries out its function from 32 units spread across various cities in the state. It operates daily services to major cities and towns and to the remotest corners of Orissa. The corporation also operates regular schedules to the neighboring states of Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Chhattisgarh.
