Orient Museum, established in 1985, is situated at
Tamenglong, about 156 km from
Imphal, the capital city of
Manipur. The museum showcases an assortment of artifacts including tribal arts and crafts, costumes, jewelry, domestic receptacles of Kabui tribe, coins and marble sculptures. Prehistoric tools, guns, cannons, ivory and bell metal, terracotta objects and paintings are also on exhibit.
Orient Museum is open from 10:00 to 15:00 hrs on all days except Sundays, Mondays and public holidays.
