Orchha Sanctuary is located in the historical city of Orchha in
Tikamgarh District of
Madhya Pradesh.
Spread over 46 sq km, the sanctuary is inhabited by spotted deer, blue bull, peacock, wild pig, monkey and jackal. Besides, birds of many species are also seen.
November to June is ideal to visit the sanctuary.
Gwalior Airport is the nearest airport and Orchha Railway Station serves as the nearest railhead.
