Olasuni Hill lies on the border of
Cuttack and
Jajpur districts in
Orissa. Near Daitari-
Paradip Express Highway, this hill is the Sadhana Peetham (the place of meditation) of the famous saint Arakhita Das.
There is a tomb of Saint Arakhita Das and a temple of Goddess Olasuni, the presiding deity. A cave where the saint attained salvation after a long meditation is also found. Magha Ekadasi is celebrated yearly. To remember the death anniversary of the saint, a nine-day Gumpha
Yatra is held in association with the Ekadasi celebration.
Olasuni hill is near Paradeep, a port town in coastal Orissa, 94 km from Cuttack. Ratnagiri and Lalitgiri hills are nearby. Gobari River flows near the hill.
