Olamattom

Olamattom is a little village in Idukki District of Kerala. This hilly area, with its lush green fields and tranquil atmosphere, is an ideal place for tourists. Karumannur, Kaliyar and Kudayathur are some interesting places in the neighborhood.

Uravappara Temple, a hillock temple dedicated to Lord Muruga is a major place of worship here. Saramkuthi Kavu Temple is at a short distance from Olamattom.

Regular bus services connect Olamattom with Thodupuzha and Muvattupuzha. Kottayam Railway Station and Cochin International Airport are the nearest railhead and airport respectively.
