Nizamat Kila




Nizamat Kila is a magnificent Italian style palace situated on the bank of the Bhagirathi (Ganges) in Murshidabad. It was built in 1837 by the British for Nawab Mirjafar. It is situated about 3 km away from Murshidabad railway station. Opposite to this massive building lie several other tourist attractions, which include Khosh Bagh, Moti Jheel or Pearl Lake and Hazarduari Palace.
