Nirmali, in
Supaul District of
Bihar, is a major town with historical importance. It is 25 km north of
Supaul, the district headquarters.
Earlier, Nirmali was a prosperous trading center. This small town was a venue for a historical meeting on 5 April, 1947. Kosi River, the sorrow of Bihar, passes close to the town.
Patna Airport is the nearest airport. Nirmali Railway Station, a terminus station on the Sakri-Nirmali meter gauge section, is the nearest access point.
