Established in 1968, Nimbkar Agricultural Research Institute (NARI) is a non-profit research organization in Phaltan,
Satara District. It conducts workshops in agriculture, renewable energy and animal husbandry. Besides, innovative research programs are conducted to develop high quality seeds and improved breeds of goats and sheep. Well equipped laboratories and an animal pathology lab are among the facilities. Consultancy services are also available.
