Nighoj is a village in Kopergaon taluk of
Ahmednagar. The place is known for its gigantic potholes situated in the bed of the river Ghod at Kund Devi. According to geologists, these potholes are supposed to be the largest in Asia. The river at Kund Devi flows through a gorge.
Nighoj is 90 km from Pune, off Pune-Ahmednagar Road, and the Kund Devi is a further 2 km from Nighoj.
