Newman College, an institution of higher education in
Thodupuzha, was established in 1964 by the Diocese of
Kothamangalam. Affliated to the
Mahatma Gandhi University, the college offers degree and post graduate courses in arts and science.
The college has well equipped laboratories and a well stocked library. It organizes group discussions and seminars. There are separate units of NCC for boys and girls, along with the three units of NSS. The facilities available in the campus are post office, canteen, book stall and DTP center.
