Nehru Gate is located at
Rajkot, in
Gujarat. Earlier its name was Nagar Darwaza in which 'Nagar' means 'city' and 'Darwaza' means 'door.' Later the name was changed to 'Nehru Gate' to pay courtesy to Pandit
Jawaharlal Nehru. The exotic gate comes with a central clock tower, which still works. The gate is made out of stone and represents
Rajput architecture.
Sardar Smriti Bhavan, Watson Museums and Jubliee Gardens are the nearest major attractions. Rajkot Airport and Rajkot Junction Railway Station serve this area.
