Nayakini Sajja

Nayakini Sajja, an excellent warfare strategy, is positioned near one of the corners of the Panhala Fort in Kolhapur District. In early times, the Marathas used this strategy to fool the enemies by concealing a deep ravine beside it. The enemies, who attacked the fort without knowing this tactic, would climb over this corner of the fort and eventually fall into the deep ravine.

The nearest railway station is at Kolhapur, 18 km away. Buses are available from Kolhapur to Panhala.
