Nawegaon Bandh Wildlife Sanctuary, the most popular forest resort in Vidarbha, is located in Saloki Taluka. It is believed that Kolu Patel Kolhi built the sanctuary in the 18th century. Maharashtra are recorded in Nawegaon. Every winter, large flocks of migratory ducks visit the lake. The animals kept in the sanctuary include leopard,
