Nawagarh is a small settlement in
Gumla District and is situated on the outskirts of
Raidih. It is located near the
National Highway 78 and is about 12 km south-west of
Gumla and 7 km east of Raidih.
Basudeokona, Hiradah and Sankhghat are some nice tourist spots nearby. Mahadev Kona, Bhutkuria Tongri caves, Hapamuni and Aanjan constitute interesting excursions outside Raidih.
Nearest airport and railway station are at Ranchi. Bano Railway Station is another railhead nearby.
