The National Research Centre for Agroforestry (NRCAF) is a part of the Indian Council for Agricultural Research (ICAR), established in 1988. The centre is located at
Jhansi in
Uttar Pradesh, about 10 km from
Jhansi Railway Station and is popularly known as "Krishivaniki". It undertakes basic and applied research for developing and delivering technologies based on sustainable agro forestry practices on farms, marginal and wastelands for different agroclimatic zones in India. The NRCAF office building and residential quarters are situated opposite to Pahuj Dam, Gwalior Road, Jhansi.
