National Museum Institute

National Museum Institute is a unique museum university with modern facilities including a formidable conservation laboratory, a multi-disciplinary collection of art-objects, library of art-books and slides, work-shop, photography department and educational unit. Formed in 1983, the institute offers courses in History of Art, Conservation and Museology. The institute also offers short term courses in History of Art for the public. The Museology students arrange exhibition every year as part their practical work and these exhibitions are formally opened to the public. National Museum Institute also publishes a lot of books and monographs. The institute also provides consultancy services to various museums and institutions.
