Established in 1975 at
Kolkata, National Institute of Homoeopathy is an autonomous organisation under Govt: of India. It is affiliated to the
University of Calcutta. It conducts Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (B.H.M.S.) and Doctor of Medicine in Homoeopathy (M.D.) Admissions are done as per the norms issued by Govt: of India. The Institute has a 60 bedded hospital, among which 10 are earmarked for surgical and 10 for maternity cases. The institute conducts researches in thyroid diseases, tonsillitis and otorrhoea, diabetes mellitus, degenerative joint diseases, leucoderma, and cataract.
