Founded in 1957, National Civil Defence College in
Nagpur aims at training the members of the Relief Organization of the Government of India. It was formerly known as the Central Emergency Relief Training Institute (CERTI).
The college offers foundational, specialized and management training courses including Earthquake Disaster Response, Chemical Disaster First Responders and Industrial Civil and Disaster Management.
The college houses a library with a wide collection of books, journals and reports. Facilities for conducting various indoor and outdoor games are also provided.
