National Center for Compositional Characterisation of Materials, a research laboratory in analytical sciences is a unit of the Bhabha Atomic Research Center,
Mumbai and is located at
Hyderabad. The Center performs research and development work pertaining to the inorganic trace element analysis to provide compositional information comprising the constituent elements, their concentration in the bulk of the samples at trace and ultra-trace levels, their surface and depth distribution profiles and their chemical state in the samples.
The center specializes in analyzing the thickness and stoichiometry of ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgical samples, semi/super conductors, determination of toxic elements, and analysis of fly ash constituents. NCCCM publishes more than 35 international journals.
