National Brain Research Centre, located in Manesar in
Gurgaon District, is an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India.
This deemed university pursues research in the areas of neuroscience. Areas covered under the research include development neuroscience, molecular and cellular neuroscience, systems and cognitive neuroscience and computational and theoretical neuroscience. It offers doctoral and masters degree in neuroscience. Postdoctoral fellowships are also offered.
This center is the hub of a network of 44 centers, which are involved in different aspects of neuroscience research.
