Natana Kairali, the research and performing center for traditional arts, is situated at
Irinjalakuda in
Thrissur District. It offers special short-term and long-term courses focusing the mode of acting of
Koodiyattam. Dancers, theatre practitioners and research scholars can use this opportunity. Every year the center conducts Koodiyattam festival during December-January.
Irinjalakuda is around 20 km south of Thrissur - popularly known as the cultural capital of Kerala.
