Narkher is located in the northwestern part of Nagpur District in Maharashtra. It is around 110 km north-west of Nagpur, the district headquarters. Katol is about 40 km south of Narkher.
Sonegaon Airport is the nearest airport. Narkher Railway Station is on the Nagpur – Betul rail route.
