Formerly called as Bor – Narayanpur, Narayanpur is a small village which lies in
Lakhimpur District of
Assam. This village, situated on the northern bank of the
Brahmaputra, is about 60 km from the district headquarters of
North Lakhimpur. It was an important historical place during the
Ahom Dynasty. Letekupukhuri, the birth place of famous saint Mahapurush Sri Sri MadhabDev, is only 15 km from here.
The nearest town is Bihpuria (2 km) and North Lakhimpur Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
