Narayana Temple




Narayana Temple is a beautiful shrine, situated at Udaipur, 5 km from Chamba, in Himachal Pradesh. The presiding deity is Lord Vishnu.

Besides the idol of Narayana, there are two other white marble images of Raja Uday Singh and his brother Lachhman Singh. There is a Sati-pillar on which the images of the four queens with the Raja and the eight maid servants are engraved who committed Sati at the Raja's death.

Narayana Temple can be accessed by bus from Chamba Bus Station.
