Narayan Sarovar Sanctuary is a few kilometers away from the famous Narayan Sarovar and 120 km from
Bhuj.
Located in Kutch District of Gujarat, Narayan Sarovar Sanctuary is a unique area in the country because of the uncommon ecosystem in the arid zone. This arid thorn-forest habitat of the chinkara or the Indian gazelle spans over 444 sq km. Other animals found here are caracal, ratel, wolf, desert cat, desert fox,
great Indian bustard, lesser florican, blue bull, spotted deer, wild boar and a variety of waterfowl.
The best time to visit is September to January.
The nearest airport and railway station are at Bhuj. The nearest bus station is at Dayapar (15 km).
