Nara Hari Betta

Nara Hari Betta is a picturesque hill station 25 km from Mangalore. It got its name from the words Nara and Hari, incarnations of Vishnu, who were believed to have performed penance here. It is known for its ponds in the form of conch, disc, club, and lotus, the weapons of Vishnu. Two temples dedicated to Narasimha and Saradamba are on the hill.
