Nar Village is located in the Petlad taluk of
Anand District. The village is situated in the central part of
Gujarat and has an area of 6 sq km. Nar got this name from Narsang, who was the head of this village before a long time.
The major part of the population constitutes Patel families. The village is well developed and has all the facilities of a town. There is free water connection in each and every house of the village. Government dispensary, separate schools for both girls and boys, state transport bus stand, post office, two libraries and a telephone exchange are the facilities in this village. Approximately 60 temples are situated here.
