Napoklu, also known as Napokia, is located in Kodagu District of Karnataka. It is about 15 km south of Madikeri, the district headquarters.

Igguthappadevara Betta and Nalkunadu Palace are nearby attractions. Tadiyandamol, the second highest peak in Karnataka, is on the way to Virajpet from Napoklu.

Nearest airport is Mangalore Airport. Mangalore Central Railway Station and Mysore Junction Railway Station are the nearest railheads.
